Emerging 30 years ago from the corn fields of west central Illinois, Christopher Hall and Walter Flakus formed Stabbing Westward, inspired by the industrial sounds permeating out of Chicago and the Wax Trax! catalog. During the formative years, the band moved to Chicago and recorded the now out of print Iwo Jesus EP, which would serve as the foundation of the bands career.  In the early 90’s, the duo expanded to a full band where they could be found crushing it at clubs like Avalon and The Metro.  Signed to Columbia Records in 1993, Stabbing Westward released 4 albums, toured with Front 242, Killing Joke, Depeche Mode, the Sex Pistols and scored a string of Alternative radio and MTV hits (Save Yourself, Shame, What Do I Have To Do, So Far Away) before calling it a day in 2002. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band, Christopher and Walter will reunite for this special show with Stabbing Westward guitarist Mark Eliopulos and drummer Johnny Haro along with some special guests.
